Night of Thrills

Time: 6PM 

Location: Falls Park – Pendleton, IN 

“ParkFest 2022, featuring Stella Luna and the Satellites, is an outdoor concert at Barnhart Field in Pendleton’s Falls Park. It’s the second year for this event, a fundraiser for Falls Park. Bring your own picnic (BYOP) – food, drink, chairs and blanket for a perfect summer evening. A BYOP contest will award prizes for the best decorated space. The Family Fun Zone offers games and activities for kids. There will also be a selfie photo area, sidewalk chalk drawing contest and much more fun for the entire family.” 


Pendleton Fall Festival 

Date: September 9th-10th  

Time: 9AM-5PM 

Location: Downtown – Pendleton, IN 

“During the annual Fall Festival, downtown shops and organizations pull out the stops for two days of specials, food, and fun. Celebrate the fall season with art and exhibits, craft booths, food, a kid zone, music and more!” 


Fall Creek Heritage Fair 

Date: September 9th-10th  

Location: Falls Park – Pendleton, IN 

“Over a hundred booths to shop from for all your fall and holiday decor. We will crown the first Queen, King, Princess and Prince for our Fall Creek Heritage Fair Court. Pendleton Kiwanis will have Kburgers, Pendleton Lions Club- Indiana returns with grilled corn on the cob and Sigma Phi Gamma will serve chicken and noodles in the community building. Pendleton Indiana Farmers Market will be open all day on the 10th with local produce, baked goods, flowers, honey, maple syrup, jam, jelly and more. The Friends of the Pendleton Community Library luck duck race launches at 2p on historic Fall Creek. Pendleton Historical Museum Spring Valley Quilt Guild show is a must see too.” 


Alexandria’s 1st Annual Throwback Street Fair 

Date: September 10th  

Time: 1:30PM-9PM 

Location: Downtown – Alexandria, IN 

“The last Alexandria Small Town Cruise has grown and this last event will be called the Throwback Street Fair. From 2-6pm, take a stroll down Harrison Street and take in all the offerings from Quinn’s Corner to Halo’s Bar & Grill. View deals at the local stores. In the evening relive your youth and cruise Alexandria. Meet up & hang out at Big City Parking lot and reminisce with old & new friends, from 6-9pm.” 


Andersontown Powwow 

Date: September 10th-11th   

Time: Saturday 10:30AM-11PM, Sunday 10:30AM-4PM 

Location: Beulah Park – Alexandria, IN 

“The Andersontown Powwow is two days of family fun, showcasing Native American culture through dance, music, storytelling, authentic crafts and shopping. Immerse yourself in the traditions of and culture of Native Tribes with atlatl and tomahawk throws, pioneer games, and more! Feast on buffalo burgers, fry bread and Indian tacos and lavender lemonade! Admission: Adults $7.00, 8 & under free.” 


Frankton Heritage Days Festival 

Date: September 16th-18th  

Location: Heritage Field – Frankton, IN 

“Join us during the third weekend in September for another annual Frankton Heritage Days Festival!! Where people get together for old time’s sake. Our volunteers and community partners are planning a jam-packed weekend of activities for you and yours to enjoy! Food, family & fun all weekend long.” 


Spirit Fest 

Date: September 17th-18th  

Time: Saturday 10AM-6PM, Sunday 10AM-4PM 

Location: Camp Chesterfield – Chesterfield, IN 

“Our beautiful, historic grounds will once again be filled with visitors who are eager to visit their favorite reader, body worker or vendor and see what exciting and new people have joined us. For the safety of all participants, this year’s event will be entirely outdoors.” 


Anderson Symphony Orchestra’s “A John WIlliams Tribute”

Date: September 24th

Time: 7:30PM 

Location: Paramount Theatre – Anderson, IN 

“John Williams, celebrating his 90th birthday in 2022, has composed some of the most recognizable and popular film music ever written. To open our 2022-2023 concert season, the ASO is pleased to present this tribute concert featuring music from Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Hook, Schindler’s List, Star Wars and more.

This is an excellent concert for children and those new to the symphony, as they will easily recognize much of the featured music. Join us for a fun opening concert and reception afterward.”
