June

Midsummer Market: A Bewitching Solstice Affair

Date: June 21

Time: 12:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Location: 3504 Main Street, Anderson, IN

Twisted Twigs and Wild Moon Child Garden & Boutique are celebrating the Summer Solstice with an afternoon of whimsy and wonder. Find handpicked artisans, magical wares, botanical delights, and summer-sweet indulgences. Adoptable dogs from the Animal Protection League (APL) will be waiting to meet you, and 10% of all shop sales will be donated to APL to share the magic.

Outlaw Figure 8 Return/Community Hospital Summer Solstice

Date: June 21

Time: 3:30 – 11:30

Location: Anderson Speedway | 1311 Martin Luther King Blvd, Anderson, IN

Celebrate the Summer Solstice with a high-energy figure 8 races. Classes participating in this event include Outlaw Figure 8, Ford Figure 8, USSA Kenyon Midgets, and Baby Grands. Racing begins at 7:30, don’t miss the action.

Summer Solstice Celebration

Date: June 21

Time: 7:00 -10:30 p.m.

Location: Mounds State Park | 4306 Mounds Road, Anderson, IN

Welcome in the first day of summer at Mounds State Park. Mounds State Park’s Circle Mound in the north end of the park by Woodland Shelter House and bring a blanket or lawn chair. More information is to come.

ASO Groovin on the Green

Date: June 22

Location: Anderson Country Club | 519 Golf Club Road, Anderson, IN

To celebrate Juneteenth, premiere cover band ‘Living Proof’ will be back with a night of energy, dancing, and great familiar tunes. Bring lawn chairs and get ready to groove. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Anderson on Tap Craft Beer, Wine & Spirits Fest

Date: June 28

Time: 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Location: Dickmann Town Center| 1124 Meridian Street, Anderson, IN

The 10th Annual Anderson On Tap Craft Beer, Wine & Spirits Fest will feature unlimited pours from ~40 Indiana craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries as well as live music from 3 different bands, local food, local art, games, and more. Spend your Saturday sampling local beer and spirits while enjoying live music with your friends.

Celebrate the Fourth of July at Anderson Speedway with Figure 8 Madness. Divisions for this race include Front Wheel Drive Figure 8, Ford Figure 8, School Bus Figure 8, and Trailer Figure 8. Front gates open at 4:00 p.m. and racing starts at 7:00 p.m. Come for the races and stay for the fireworks.

Full Moon Hike

Date: July 11

Time: 9:30 – 11:00 p.m.

Location: Mounds State Park | 4306 Mounds Road, Anderson, IN

Join naturalist Sheree for a night hike and learn about the full moon, nocturnal animals, folklore and/or fun facts about the moon and other stellar objects. This 1.5 mile hike is across multiple trails and is considered rugged due to stairs.

Anderson Pride 2025 – 2nd Annual Paint the Town with Pride Festival

Date: July 13

Time: 1:00 p.m.

Location: Dickmann Town Center | 1135 Meridian Street, Anderson, IN

Anderson’s 2nd Annual Pride Festival brings the community together to celebrate pride through music, art, and education. The festival offers something for everyone, whether you are a member of the LGBTQ+ community of an ally, this family-friendly event has something for everyone, and admission is free.

Madison County 4-H Fair

Location: Madison County Fairgrounds, Alexandria, IN

This year, the Madison County 4-H Fair will have 4-H shows, a car and bike show,  live music, a parade, a queen contest, rides, and more. Spend some time in the sun having fun at the Madison County 4-H Fair.

Mudsock 6

Date: July 25-26

Time: 10:00 a.m.

Location: Mystic Waters Campground | 5435 W State Road 38, Pendleton, IN

Mudsock 6 is a two-day festival featuring live music, camping, a cornhole tournament, fishing contest, silent auction, and more. Held at Mystic Waters Campground in Pendleton, it’s a fun-filled weekend that raises money for Children’s TherAplay of Carmel and other local causes.

59th Annual Redbud 400 – ASA Stars National Tour

White River Food Truck Festival

Location: Blue Bridge Park | 222 E 10th Street, Anderson, IN

The White River Food Truck Festival is a family-friendly event celebrating local flavor as part of Taste of Madison County. Enjoy over 15 Madison County food trucks, adult beverages, live music, face painting, a petting zoo, bounce houses, and more all along the scenic White River.

Night before Glass Festival Rod Run

Location: Elwood Elks Lodge, 1700 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, IN

The Friday Night Before the Glass Festival Rod Run is a classic car event featuring music, a 50/50 raffle, trophies, and food and drinks available for purchase from the Elwood Elks. Join the fun at the Elwood Elks Lodge

Elwood Glass Festival

Location: Calloway Park | 302 Calloway Park Drive, Elwood, IN

The Elwood Glass Festival is a three-day celebration packed with fun for all ages, featuring carnival rides, a parade, live music, food vendors, arts and crafts, a classic car show, glass-blowing tours, and more. Held every August in Callaway Park, it’s one of Central Indiana’s favorite family events.
