Nights of Lights

Mounds State Park is bringing the festive spirit this year with the third annual “Nights of Lights” holiday light drive-through! Some might argue there is no better way to enjoy the beautiful sights of the holiday season than from the comfort of your own car, and they might be right.

Bring a car full of family or friends and take in the sight of over 60 campsites covered in colorful lights and decorations! It is truly a show for all age ranges. All the proceeds of this month-long event will be put back into the park to build bigger and better educational programs for both children and adults.

This event is hosted by the “Friends of Mounds State Park” organization, which is not an official DNR group, so we are not sure. Here is the number for the organization if you would like to reach out to them: (765) 649-8128.
