If there’s anything we know, it’s summer = lake season. This summer, you can find the ultimate FREE summer activity at Shadyside Lake in Anderson, IN! Head to the docks (1125 Alexandria Pike, Anderson, IN 46012) from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. every day, beginning Friday, May 22, 2026, and throughout the summer, to go on a kayak or paddleboat for completely free!
Enjoy the peaceful outdoors on the lake with family and friends. Please remember that kayaks and paddleboats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you have to wait for the next boat, take a walk around the trails!
Life vests are available, and children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. These activities are weather permitting.
