William Grant Still’s “Danzas de Panamá” opens with vibrant rhythms rooted in Afro-Caribbean tradition, Ravel’s “Le Tombeau de Couperin,” written in memory of friends lost in World War I, offers delicate elegance and quiet reflection, and Bob Chilcott’s “Move Him Into the Sun,” a choral setting of war poetry by Wilfred Owen, gives a haunting voice to the sorrow and sacrifice of soldiers on the front lines. Redbud Quilt Guild Show

The ground will shake and the engines will roar as the Monster Truck Throwdown storms into Anderson Speedway for two full shows. Fans can enjoy a full evening of family-friendly entertainment, beginning with the Pre-Event Pit Party and Meet & Greet from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The pit party is included with the price of admission and gives fans the opportunity to see the trucks up close, meet the drivers, take photos, and collect autographs.
