Transparency

The Anderson Madison County Visitors Bureau (AMCVB) is an Indiana not-for-profit corporation developing opportunities, programs and resources in order to promote and encourage tourism throughout Madison County, IN. We are dedicated to providing complete transparency as to how the AMCVB is funded, how those funds are allocated, our current and future operations, and sharing of impact results as we strive to achieve our goals. Furthermore, the AMCVB is funded by a 5% innkeeper’s tax on persons engage in the business of renting or furnishing rooms, lodging, or accommodations for periods of less than 30 days.

Tourism is a vital investment in Madison County local communities. The development and advancement of tourism helps to create and maintain worthwhile placemaking initiatives, positive community image, and increased economic possibilities. Tourism impacts everyone directly or indirectly as it is an instrument in helping growth of the local economy, and providing ample opportunity for visitors to engage with the great places in Madison County. We thank those living within and supporting Madison County, those who may be visiting, and our local, state, and nation elected officials as we continue to try to provide an important public service to our local communities.
